This game puts Uncharted in shame!
And it doesn't have QTEs!
Enslaved is a true hidden gem. Usually hidden gems are not really gems - they are just good games that didn't become hits for one reason or another, but usually the reason being that they have downsides or are generally not that impressive.
But Enslaved is not one of those games - it's a truly great game that should have sold at least 5 million copies. The fact that a mediocre game like Bioshock Infinite gets overhyped while a potential hit like Enslaved is left in the shadows makes me wince.
This game also is one of those rare modern games in which upgrades are actually useful.
I'm about halfway through and the only gripe I have so far is that Trip and Monkey didn't have a sexy time by the campfire. If we go deeper then they shouldn't have made a campfire in the first place in a dangerous environment (doh) but found a safe closed space.
