One of the most unique games I've played!

User Rating: 7.5 | Endless Ocean WII
It's time for the Endless Ocean review. For the Wii.

When I saw this game, I didn't know what to expect. You start out by making a character. You have been assigned to be a diver by Katherine Sunday, who can't swim for some reason. Why is she near the water then?

The great thing I love about this game is that even though there is a story, you don't have to do it. You can advance it at your own pace, and everything is unlocked.(However such things like nightvision must be unlocked.) In the water, you'll find a lot of fish and you can find information about the fish and it's name by clicking on them and shaking your Wiimote, which will stroke the fish. How is stroking a fish gonna tell you if it's a Blue Tang, or a Whale Shark? Eh. It's just video game logic. It's not all about finding fish, there are also items in the sea that you can collect. You will also get emails that will ask you to take photos, or even bring someone on a tour. That's why it's difficult to review this game because there is a LOT to do!

The graphics are great. These graphics are very pleasing to the eye, as they are very colorful.

The controls worked fine too. Press the minus button to autoswim, and point the wiimote to swim. They were very sharp.

The music is a little different. The music is more relax, calm music. You can put songs on an SD card and play them, but you can't pick songs from the SD card, and let it shuffle on it's own. But that doesn't denote the game because it doesn't effect gameplay. I saw that Gamespot gave this game the demerit for bad music. Well guess what, the music is exactly what it should be for this game.

Endless Ocean is a very good game. Great graphics, controls, gameplay, and overall VERY ADDICTING! The downsides were that you can get a good amount of the story in a few hours of play. But oh well.

This game gets a 7.5 out of 10 with the title of Good.
