A lame cash grab posing as a tribute to a respectable profession.

While Firefighting is a respected and noble profession, making a game about it seems to be a poor idea. The subject matter may appeal to kids fascinated by the profession but many adult who play video games may not have the same awe. Unfortunately this game is pure shovelware. Infogrames has put out a slew of mediocre titles that have been forgotten in the short history of games and this is just another run of the mill example. The graphics of this game are bland and boring. Even the fire is animated poorly. The sound and music are also generic and generally poor sounding. The game itself pits you in different situations where you must put out fires and save lives. The tutorial teaches you about utilizing your team and then sets you off into the repetitive missions in which you save the people and put out the fire. The box says that strategy is a huge part of each of the missions but each mission is so short and all the events happen the same way that a simple trial and error strategy will eventually end in victory for you. I cannot recommend this game to any gamer with experience even if they have a strong interest in the subject matter. The game is really that lame, uninteresting and unchallenging.
