This game does strike a cord for the X-Wing vs Tie Fighter fans, upon entering the Eagle, and commencing a dogfight, sound, looks, feel, modern gameplay screams that this is something you should experience, and this only can hook you up really fast...Don't enter an Eagle and fly to a Conflict Zone, you have been warned.
Still not the best, but way better than anything else released so far. A good alternative waiting for Star Citizen to slowly boost its new engines, while EvE online a marvelous game world that is getting old too, Elite has a spot between these two that cannot be challenged for the time being, and easily can be played from fans of both extremes as the immersive/deep strategic space sim-world according to their mood. Since launch, it is a far better and way more enjoying experience...
