Post patch 1.06 the game is starting to live up to its potential. Will only get better from here. Gonna be great I think

Post patch 1.06 the game is starting to live up to its potential. Will only get better from here. Brads taking a sabbatical to work on the AI and stardock is making appropriate changes to a few systems that the public aren't happy with. The rough launch not withstanding its still a very good strategy game and can go toe to toe with most of them. Maybe even Civ 5 since they redid so much in it who knows how it will play.

There are much worse games out there to spend your money on then this one. So far its a very entertaining experience. Yes there are flaws but they are very minor in the grand scheme of things.

Depending on your strategy the game can be fairly easy, or fairly difficult. So there is some balance issues to address still. The next patch is due in September to address a few more of the issues.
