I do not normally write reviews for games and just keep it to myself but, Elden ring is one game worth mentioning. This game has exceeded my expectations in every way from the graphics to the gameplay and everything in between.
I gave elden ring a 10 because it checks every box I wanted in this genre. A mature and challenging game with minimal hand holding and a huge focus on exploration and varied enemies and bosses, npc's, hidden content, no microtransactions, etc.
This game is fully fleshed out I have over 80 hours currently in this game and I feel like I've just begun playing. There is constantly new things to see and explore, new enemies to face and the combat is phenominal. I am beyond impressed on how good the game looks and plays on my PS5.
Guaranteed to become a GOTY (game of the year) There is so much variety and ways to conquer challenges in the game from horseback to stealth.
I just can't recommend this game enough for people it really is a masterpiece that very few companies can accomplish even AAA titles can't reproduce this much content without paywalling half of it behind pre orders, deluxe editions, console exclusives, microtransactions, DLC's, expansion packs, and "battle passes" (paid live services). I also own BF2042 and I've been a huge battlefield fan since 1942, and I can't believe the direction they've taken that franchise its absolutely abhorrent.
In conclusion I can say that Elden Ring is 100% worth the money and time to play, its so satisfying at every turn and after I've been playing the majority of my time off I still can't wait to hop back into the worll and explore to see what's next for me.
