such an under rated game!!...
This barely has any fan reviews and Gamespot didn't even bother rating it....this classic is the defenition of under rated !!
I,ve always loved the show ed edd n eddy on the cartoon network and I still watch it online even though Im 14 now.In 2005 a game came out called ed edd n eddy the mis ed-ventures! I being a big fan , was obviously hiped and while it may only appeal to fans of the show , I still found it very fun and it reminded me of the show I used to watch as a little kid...
So the game play is very simple , as are the controls . you can use ed , edd as well as eddy . All three of them have different abilities for example Ed is the muscle of the three.For melee he smashes his head on the ground hurting everything in his path while sometimes saying a line fromthe show. He can lift and throw stuff ,dig for coins , costumes ecc and also edd n eddy stay behind lumpy(it's what eddy usualy calls him) grab on to him as ed runs as fast as he can running over things and smashing obstacles that are unbreakable when using the others.
Edd (Also known as double 'D')is the brains of the three so he can fix/activate devices.He uses a ruler for melee attack.has a slingshot when you enter first person view ( others can enter first person mode but only double 'D' has the sling shot),and when you're playing as him you can get ed n eddy to give double 'D' a boost o he can jump higher.
eddy is the leader of the group . he uses a wallet for his melee attacks.He can throw sting bombs and he can perform something called the tower of ed which he can use to grab stuf that's to high up for either of the eds to reach individually
You have a life bar , yes you CAN be killed in this game either by getting attacked by squirrels and spiders which grab on to you and only seem to let go when you jump(they are beyond annoying) and you can also die if you fall in water.
There are six levels ( please excuse me if I mistake somethings because I havent played this game in a very long time) .
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD
level 1: a tutorial where you need to perform certain things with all three of the ed'sin order for you to get used to the controls.
level 2: theres a party going on in jimmys back yard but as usual the eds are left out of it , so you need to go in a suwer , yes a sewer in order for you to get into jimmy back yard but once you get there the party's already over. BUT the level doesn't end there , there you meet with the kankers who you find in a piniyata , thus being the first boss battle of the game
level 3: The eds meet up with rolf where they find out that the candy store is giving away free jawbreakers and they rush trough eddy's "short cut"to get to the candy store but on there way there they have to deal with certain obstacles like getting jimmys stuffed toys out of a tree.when they finally get to the store eddy has some sort of alergy and his face becomes green .from there its a race to eddys house as you try to get there without anyone seeing you.
level 4: The eds once again meet up with rolf but this time he shows them his badge.Eddy is impressed and he wants to get one but in order to do this he and the other two eds mast pass all sorts of obstacles ,when they manage to do so rolf claims that because all three of them did their best then it is unfair to give it to just one of them...so he rips the badge in three giving each ed a piec making the badge completaly useles.
level 5:Jimmy sees mr.yum yum in an old creepy looking house ( the same house that the eds got "married" to the kanker sisters)and eddy tells him that they will get mr.yum yum for himif he agrees to pay them.luckly for the eds he does agree to this and the eds go in. It is later revieled that eddy told ed to hide mr.yum yum in there because he knew that jimmy would pay anything to get him back .Is is also revieled that there are the kankers in that very same house.As acspected the kankers wont let them go unless the eds get the 'boyfriend presents'.A ship in a bottle for lee ,a can of Axle grease for marie and a texidermy book for may kanker. The kankers finally let them go but when the eds deliver mr.yum yum to jimmy it snaps in half leaving the eds unpaid
level 6: Eddy has some jaw breakers stashed away under his bad , when the eds get ready to devoure them they find that the jawbreakers are missing and they also find a piece of a map , when they finally get all the pieces of the map tthe eds descover that the kankers have the jawbreakers. they rush into the kankers trailer only to be standing on a conveniently placed trap door which traps the eds underground. whilste they're underground they have a timer for only god knows why...they find they're way out only to face the kankers (final boss) they deeat the kankers and head out only to find that the kankers set them up ......... BAMM! the game ends!!!
actualy thats one of the main problems of the game it's to freakin' short!!
Note: there are also two secret levels but I wont talk about them because theyre not that good anyway
