Ecco Jr. is fun enough to withstand its easyness.
The bad: too easy.
Average Score: 8.2/10
Everyones favorite Dolphin is back in the prequel to the popular Ecco series. In this game, Ecco is younger, and you must guide him through 27 levels to the Big Blue. It's one of the easiest games to beat, but also fun.
Each mission involves you using your sonar powers to find items, your friends, or even rings. The closer you are, the difference in the sound. This is the only challenge in the game, although its not much. Still, it's lots of fun jumping out of the water and collecting items.
Ecco Jr.'s graphics are gorgous, with each level being completly detailed with coral reefs, good looking sea creatures, and backgrounds. The soundtrack is memorable, with greats such as when you figure out how many missions you've beaten, or the 2nd levels music.
Overall, Ecco Jr. is too easy, but very fun. Ecco Jr. is fun enough to withstand its easyness. Any Ecco fan let alone Genesis fan should get this thrill of a ride.
