What an awesome game! Weird, but awesome!

MOTHER was a video game series in Japan started by Nintendo. When MOTHER 2 came out, Nintendo decided to release it in America re-naming it "EarthBound", which would technically make MOTHER 1 on NES EarthBound 0. The RPG stars a kid named Ness, who meets an alien insectoid named Buzz-Buzz who tells him the world is in danger of a red swirling ghost called Giygas. Ness learns the power of PSI and he and his friends defeat Giygas at the end of the game. Giygas is frightening, mostly because of his creepy, strange appearance combined with the creepy sound effects. During the Giygas battle, you may notice a few secrets in him. Like how you can see a fetus after his defensed become unstable. Also when you defeat him, you hear "GET ME OUT OF HERE!" in the static as he disappears. Ness is a weird name probably bases off of NES. Even in MOTHER 1 the character's name is Ninten which is obviously just "Nintendo" without the "do", but there is no problem with that.
Bottom line: Weird, but awesome!
