Forced fov narrowing ruins the experience

I may be in the minority here, as I've got a tough stomach and HATE fov narrowing, but it just utterly ruins the experience here for me. My biggest want for VR going forward is greatly INCREASED field of view, so it's maddening when devs intentionally narrow your vision to the size of a pinhole. Okay, that's exaggerating, but every time you turn your head, the field of view greatly reduces, perhaps by 40 or 50%. For me, this really takes me out of the experience and reinforces the already mildly present "horse-blinder effect" on psvr. It absolutely destroys all realism for me.

Now I completely understand why Ubisoft had to add this - vr makes a lot of people sick, and this is one solution to it for fast moving games (though this game isn't all THAT fast). So it should ABSOLUTELY be included, and even be on by default, so the people who get sick don't stir up bad press. What's not excusable is not including turning it off as an option. Rigs did this right - they included the fov narrowing, but gave you an option in the menus to turn it off.

Honestly it's so bad I can't get past the first chapter of the game. I keep trying and trying and it just breaks my heart. Worst experience on psvr so far.
