I always sort of enjoyed the dynasty warriors. Yeah, it has mentally challenged AI and level designs are really bland and repetitive but just the reason you are kicking 3000 asses every match makes you feel satisfied and i loved the way you could train your characters stats. So i thought the ps2 ones were ok, playing on the go would be sweet. I was wrong. First thing that really pissed me off is that you cant raise your characters stats. Then i noticed there was a level up system but you level up throughout the match and at the end you dont keep your level. Also the maps are split by zones, bland colorless zones with one general or officer per zone. After you kick the enemys off the zone you move on to another zone, the map is displayed after you conquer the zone and you choose which zone to go to next either side of your zone. Eventually you reach the final zone where theres the final boss. And after all those 30 minutes put to waste, you get your ass owned by the boss. And no theres no saves. So after 2 to 3 trys i quit playing the game and now its collecting dust. The graphics are actually similar to the ps2 one (dynasty warriors 2 probably). Theyre not bad but map designs bore the crap out of you. The voiceovers are as horrid as always other than that the sound isnt bad. The only people who should buy this game are die-hard dynasty warriors fans.
