When i first bought dynasty warriors 6 i was expecting the same i knew and loved. I got that and more. The formula is still the same beat the crap out of people., with some twists. Koei made dynasty warriors 6 seem like an RPG in a way., you get to level up characters and put skill points in their skill tree which i liked. Another thing is most characters had a complete makeover which was awesome. The graphics have been improved a lot and runs smooth almost all the time no more very slow combat. But Koei's changes have some downsides. Characters have little differences in the way they fight you'll find clones of the same characters. also the musou mode or story mode has been reduced only 17 characters have stories which can be beaten in around 6-7 hours to complete them all. Also only those 17 characters have a difference of how the charters weapons look and they got rid of some characters. But all in all its a fun game that may grow on you in time and if you haven't liked dynasty warriors game you may not want try this one out.
