Perhaps a little over zealous in rating Dynasty Warriors 5XL a 10 but for those who are new to the series; game controls are simple, while the variety of games and number of missions is extensive. On the other hand, DW junkies like myself will fall effortlessly into the game play which remains comfortably familiar, while new additions in game style, items and characters out number any two or three previous installments from Destraga forward. The graphics have been sharpened up and the game intensity has positively increased on the higher level settings and once you factor in the new edit mode, that puts it over the top. Perhaps a 9.75 would have better in order to inspire the designers to give a little more but I still like the 10, if for no other reason than I can‘t figure out what they missed.
