Dynasty Warriors 3 is great game if you like action games, and surprisingly doesn't get repetitive after a while

User Rating: 9 | Dynasty Warriors 3 PS2
I'm a Dynasty Warriors fan, and this is by far the best Dynasty Warriors game; way better than the most recent ones. For those of you who like heavy fighting games, then this is for you.
Graphics--I'm going to say they're really good for a game made in 2001. There's not much enemy variety, though the main characters look great. The environments look good, as well, though there are tons of pop-up issues and the frame rate can sometimes slow down dramatically. The voice acting is great, and the voices really match the characters well. The sound in the actual game does get repetitive, but it didn't really bother me.
Gameplay--the combat is pretty basic. It's like a button smasher and the difficulty is very easy. There are huge battlefields to roam around through, and there's lots of people to fight. The gameplay does get repetitive, but I've enjoyed it and have loved to replay levels. There are special attacks to use, and there's tons of battlefields and characters to choose from. There are extra modes that really bring out each individual character's story, which is neat. Overall, the combat may seem repetitive, and it is, but I really enjoyed this game and it's lasted me for a long time.
Graphics: 8.8/10--I'm not rating the graphics by today's standards, but for a 2001 game, it looks really nice.
Gameplay: 9/10--the gameplay is really fun; lots of levels; lots of characters and weapons to achieve. It's just really fun.
Final Thoughts: If you like fighting games or are a Dynasty Warriors fan, then definitely pick this game up to rent or buy.
