As you know tachland the famous Polish Developer Responsible for Dead Island is back With its new latest Installment Dying Light. Dying Light is a first person Action Adventure Zombie Survival Horror Game Set in a vast city called "Haran" (hope I'm pronouncing it right).Now dying light is a game that can easily get mixed reviews regarding its story and characters.I for one found both OK it's not mind blowing but it's good enough to keep you pushing forward to find out what happens. Now I'm gonna divided this in Sections 1)Gameplay The gameplay is pretty much like dead island and immediately familiar it's players in terms of combat.Although it's similar but this time more polished and has more original touch to it.Hitting enemies has never been this much fun and bad ass and the way he swings the impact it all sums up to one thing satisfaction.Then there is the new natural movement system. It's basically parkour and although at first it is hard to get but when you do get it it's a wonder to just climb to the highest point to just enjoy the breathtaking scenery.It also offers fire arms and some human enemies which offer a real challenge.There is also crafting in the game and allows to craft weapons different potions to aid you in combat and it also let's you add an elemental affect on you're weapons and it's pretty awesome seeing zombies buying freezing and having their heads burst due to high electricity then there is the day and night cycle and in this game this actually matters because unlike the day during the night a new breed of zombies appear and these are those guys that are impossible to beat even running away from them is hard because they are as good on pakour as you are.Obviously its challenging and because of this the Xp earned while doing missions in night is even more oh and if you die you loose all you're Xp. All in all Dying light succeeds in the gameplay factor with flying colours 2)Graphics The visuals in this game are pretty awesome like I earlier said the scenery are just breathtaking the high physics effects the lighting textures they've all pretty much proved what the Chrome Engine 6 is capable of.Although the game is pretty unoptimised on the PC version even one of the most beefy rigs experience unexpected and high levels of frame rate drops at certain instances. The game also has some occasional bugs but they are not game breaking. 3)Story and Characters Now I'm not gonna say much about the story here but I'll give the overview you're a secret operative of the G.R.E and you've been sent into this zombie infested quarantine zone where you are to investigate about a rogue agent Rias and u are to do this at all cost.Even if this involves sacrificing civilians. By now you must've noticed that the story is pretty mainstream and much of a cliché but it's not what the story is over all what actually matters is the way the game tells it and.sadly this game fails in that aspect the story although having potential feels like it's being rushed and is pretty much forgettable.But it'll keep you going it isn't memorable but it's good and I like it I'm sure u.will too As of the characters to tell you the truth aren't that bad the game pretty much got me to.care about these people and what they are going through the game feels pretty alive concerning them although there a few forgettable ones but there are ones ull pretty much remember.But they are a bit annoying. 4)Sound Sound design in this game is superb from the sound of you're of feet while running to the impact sound everything done here regarding sound is Badass and really leaves a good and realistic impression on you although I did notice some issue with the lips syncing.The game also has a superb sound track. 5) Multiplayer The multiplayer inboxes fame is basically Co op you invite three more of.you're friends I'm the game world and you play together.It's simple and fun but that not all of. There is an additional node called "Be the zombie".In this you become one of those badass night zombies and can invade any players world at night so if the maximum people playing at one time and one game world is like about 5 it becomes a 4v1 death match (yeah it's a bit like evolve I know).Si it's basically PvP+E yeah cuz the night zombie has those AI zombie at his side. I've given my opinion regarding the game it is easily the best zombie game to date but sadly it has few loose ends which.If tied up would have made this game a true masterpiece.It has a dead serious story unlike most zombie games and is one where you can really enjoy yourself IF you're a fan of the zombie genre and it's a must buy.Opinion it's the true next gen experience for zombie fans.
