I just bought the game for $14.95. I started it with an open mind. I really like it. I feel I got my bang for the buck.

Feed the pig. Make it fat. Then eat it. That's the approach Dungeons takes with regards to Heroes. Keep them happy. Then when their well-fed and on the way out the door, ya sucker-punch em and steal their very essence of life. And of course, get your gold back, plus.

I"m pretty sure the game-spot review was done before the latest update and would strongly suggest downloading the demo and taking it around the block. From what I read in the updates, they've revamped all the maps.

I own Dungeon Keeper and read the negative reviews for Dungeons. When the price hit $14.95 on Black Friday with Steam. I got the demo and played for about an hour. I knew that it would be a great game to play, for the cost, and bought it.

I"ve played it about 10 hours straight and haven't gotten bored yet. I think it was under-rated and needs not to be compared to Dungeon Keeper. Yes the old nostaliga is there. It would be nice to go inside the creatures and play as them, once in a while. Might happen in the future. But who needs to anyway when you got a well equipped daemon to blast the goodie heroes, that'll yell, "I smite you with my +1 dagger", into obliteration.
