it sucks for silly reasons

Okay, you first have to understand that I want to like this game. This is my kind of game, I have been playing these CD&D games since they first came out. I still want to like this game, but, in its current form it sucks.

And it sucks for silly reasons; really just two small fixed would have improved it to around a 7. The graphics remind me of the last generation console games, the NPC's and environments look awful, and the weird grunt from NPS's eats away at my soul every time I hear it, it makes me start to hate, it is the worst sound in the world and I just want it to stop. That's thing one.

Thing two is even simpler, the cut scenes trigger to early every single time. When they finish you are somewhere farther up the path than you were, and you are turned around randomly. Since everything looks the same the frustration starts to build as you are constantly losing direction, often having to run a good ways in both directions to pick up any loot or just figure out where you are. This happens a lot.

I and desperate for a GBDA type game, we haven't had a good one in years, and it is my favorite type of game. I love D&D, I love everything about this genera. If I don't like this, it simply is not likable. Period. I would guess there was a staff of about 3 people that worked on this, how it got released is beyond me.

It feels like an FU. Also, part of the trick I figured out is that on the xbox version, I bought it because it had like a five star rating, and I figured reviews aside if 6000 people gave it five start it must be okay. Ha ha! When you download it it defaults to five starts, so I am betting that about 6000 people had bought it and that is why the rating was so hi, that just wrong IMHO. I changed my in-console rating to two stars; if you own the game you should do the same thing so others don't get tricked.
