I'm not sure why Gamespot reviewers don't like these games. They may not be as deep as some other RPG offerings but they are a lot of fun. This is a game I can get in and out of quickly when I don't have a lot of time to play. Other RPGs require you to really be into the game and remember what happened from one section to the next to follow the quests. Dungeon Siege is just a lot of fun to play. It reminds me most of the Diablo games in it's simplicity, and every reviewer out there falls all over themselves to give Blizzard games a great review.
