Dungeon Hunters is a blast to play even with its technical problems

User Rating: 8 | Dungeon Hunter: Alliance VITA
I picked up this game on the vita's release day because im into those dungeon crawler and loot type of games. I read the review on here at gamespot and also ign and they both scored it pretty low. That didnt stop me from buying it because they allways rate games like this with low ratings(i dont know why). My brother and a close buddy of mine also picked it up that day and we got lucky with the last of the copys at the location. Weve been playing the multiplayer now for about 20 hours and its a blast. Being able to talk with your mic to the other players your playing with is a great aspect and helps alot with questing and such. The game has some technical problems that include framerate drops during big fights and im not sure if this is 100% true but i never get and fairy crystal drops when playing multiplayer only in singleplayer. Something to be aware of is if your playing via wifi do not press your playstation live menu button becuase it will drop you from the game that you are in. There is tons of loot and quest to do and the bosses are actually challenging unlinke other games of this genre. The game is based around potions which is really your only source of health unless your a mage who has a spell that heals the group and or you have items that gain hp on hit. I have not made it to the pit of trials yet which is a lvl 25 mode that has you fight against waves of enemys. Im enjoying this game very much and would give it an 8/10 for the reason of it being extremly fun, tons of loot and the multiplayer works very well on the vita. The technical issues with the game arent enough to back me away from it and it shouldnt stop you from buying it aswell. The price may be more then the ipad and ps3 but what can you do its a new system with new technology which those other platforms dont have. Hope you enjoyed the review please comment whatever you like.
