When Dune 2 came out for dos in 1992 many went crazy about how good it was and is! This is Dune 2 but with better graphics, better sounds and better everything, maybe not for the time but still a rather nice remake, yes R E M A K E. Some says it's gameplay is bad, but hey should they make it a completely new game so that it is not Dune 2 anymore?, Judge it for the prize, judge it for being a remake, judge it for what it is. But don't come and say that it's crap. In my opinion the gameplay is as fine as many other real time strategy games, Even though that it may get a bit linear since it's a remake and not a new game. So in that sentence it deserves around a 8/10. The graphics in the game is very well fit, and makes one interested to play the game, especially as it is 3D And the fact that it is for playstation makes it deserve a 9/10. There is a lot of different songs in the game to like, and you can play any you wish and play the whole list so that the music won't be repeated too much. The sounds deserves a 8/10 and the music a 9/10. if you're a fan to the serie as I am somewhat then it's value is definitely worth a high score such as 8-10/10. Reviewer's Tilt 8/10. Overall it is nice for what it is but if you look for something new then you maybe should be looking elsewhere. 8.2/10
