One of THE BEST RPG's I've ever played in my life. It pulled me away from Diablo 3, and its even better than SKYRIM.
Lets cut to the chase first about Dragons Dogma....if you want a game that has addictive gameplay, with awesome action/combat, a huge open world to explore, has a MMORPG feel where you get to create your own character PLUS create a pawn (a VERY smart A.I. controlled partner) that you can make any class that levels with you and can equip with gear, weapons and skills, and have 2 addtional pawns who follow you, for a total of 4 in your party to explore a huge world, this game is a MUST BUY. I have looked forever for a game such as Dragons Dogma, FINALLY, I have it. Hence why I said in the title, one of the best RPG's Ive ever played.
BATTLES & PAWNS:::
The battles you encounter are very MMORPG'ish. Except its you and your pawns who are very intelligent. They'll yell out things to aid you in taking down certain foes, quest related things, mages will deal massive spells out, heal you plus various other helpful tips. Ive played games for 30+ years, and I have never seen A.I. companions in a RPG that are this smart, helpful and just fun to play. Dragons Dogma has no equal in this department. BOTTOM LINE:::
This is one of the best 360 games Ive bought in the 360's life cycle. Why? Combat, gameplay, quests, huge open world, party of 4 adventurers , feels like an offline MMORPG. K, Im going to play it....have fun if you get it! :)
P.S.::: I do love SKYRIM btw, but Dragons Dogma is just so unique with a better combat system, and those those pawns make it a hair better.
