Amazing! What Skyrim wishes it was.

This game looks amazing and plays really well. I saw a good review on good game then read rather lukewarm reviews, decided to try it anyway and so glad I did. Having played the game I can't understand how you cannot love this game. It has great combat, beautiful scenery, the pawns that travel with you are like mmo players without all the trouble of waiting for real players, amazing!
It has a touch of Dark souls, which I love. The general feel is similar to Skyrim but without the awful combat of that game. Fights look amazing and feel intense. If you are unprepared this game will kick your arse.
The one criticism I have is that you are limited to one save file, this should be changed. Otherwise the game has several smart innovations, you select pawns as you progress, like choosing a party and they even pick out the loot for you! What a great idea.

  Despite it's lack of polish, Dragon's Dogma is a great game, and an ambitious take on the open world genre. Play it.
