Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension was the first DBZ game worth playing.

This Japanese Dragon Ball Z title was truly breathtaking. It had perfect graphics (for the SNES) and mastered sound. However, the game was not very fast, and had no story. It wasn't deep at all, in other words. You were timed to pick your character as you are in most SNES fighting games, though you have a wide selection. You also have a wide selection of stages where you can fight, though like I said, the game doesn't have much life. You have all the basic moves of all your favorite characters, but for the most part, there is no diversity, or variety, of moves. You cannot transform into other stages of your character, which mainly applies to Freeza and Cell, as well as Buu. If you choose a Saiyan to fight with, you'll notice that you start out as a Super Saiyan- unlike the modern DBZ games. Overall, DBZ HD is a great title, and it doesn't take long to learn all of the moves. If you are interested, pick up Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.
