Could've been, should've been, but not!

User Rating: 8 | Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 WII
The Dragon Ball series ranks amongst the three most popular anime series of all time, alongside Naruto and Bleach. The games however, are a different story. The Legacy of Goku series were definitely good though not as expansive as one could've hoped. As for the Tenkaichi series, well, they leave out alot of good things, this title in particular. The graphics are amazing at least from my opinion and the voice acting is pretty nice, especially since I think they are the voice actors from the series. However, this game;s story mode unfortunately skips out on most of the series, focusing on fights in which whose outcome differ completely from what is supposed to be. Almost all of the anime scenes have been removed in favor of a dialogue which takes alot of the fun out of it. Plus the difficulty level can vary tremendously. In some instances, the AI can be a punching bag and you would nail a relatively easy victory. In other cases, the AI can go into rampage mode and give little to no chance of fighting back, making it extremely difficult to win in those situations. The controls are a little difficult especially when fighting the AI. The game was very good though and given everything else would have given it a 9.5 but unfortunately, its leaves alot of room for improvement.
