It was fun, but the story mode was lame!

DBZ Budokai 3 was a really fun game to play. It was fast-paced and had lots of characters to unlock. One of the only problems with this game was how story mode was shown. It was all text and no action was shown, except for the explosions to hear (I wanted to see Krillin get blown up by Frieza. I loved that!). Another problem was the stat-building. When I upgraded, I didn't feel any stronger, so I gave everything to Health. Also, some characters stories looked rushed. (ie. All Broli did was kill anyone in his path and go "Kakarot" all the time, only to be killed by Gohan out of nowhere.)

The gameplay was fun because it was fast, just like DBZ. The AI will fight differently depending on the character. For example, when fighting Kid Buu he will only try to use the Dragonrush, which is when you need to match your opponent's button press. I found the character's entering phrases were funny, and changed depending on who's fighting. For example, if it's Krillin vs. #18, she asks for dinner; Vegeta basically calls evryone freak.

Overall DBZB3 is a fun experience for a lot of people, even for those who aren't fans of the show... if you don't care about how bad story mode was done.
