It's a very well polished turd.
But the graphics are great (even without the Hi-res texture upgrade for PC), the sound is intense, the music is produced very nicely. In other words, BioWare really knows how to make a game. It's too bad there was no substance. I know you hear that a lot in negative reviews, but it's true in this game. I saw maybe one tiny glitch throughout the entire game. Like the camera froze for a few seconds. Not even worth remembering. Unfortunately the plot is hard to remember as well. They really should have spent more time writing the story. I wouldn't have minded waiting a few more years for the release. I want a reason why I should go back to that same town besides collecting extra XP. I want something new. I don't like playing fetch. "Go see blah blah about bleh and collect me 3x bloops." "Aight." *10 minutes later* "I got your stuff." "Aight, thanks." *500 XP click map to start another quest* Nah, ya know what? 60 bucks says I get something different. Apparently not.
I believe this game will sell enough copies to make EA proud of BioWare. However, I hope they listen to the criticisms so that the next one will have more... uh.... substance.
