The reason this game is the best game ever is because this was originaly a NES title and then was never seen from again. Until now. This is the most addictive game since tetris and yes it is bare bones but you really don't need anything else. You can spend 5 minutes playing this game or you could spend 5 hours easy. It's too bad this never came out on the game cube, I think they would have sold more units if they did. Anyway go out and get this as soon as you can, I know its not a first person shooter but who cares. This game is sick and Dr. Mario is the cure!!!
