To be honest, the only reason I picked this game up was because I remembered playing Dr. Mario back in the day and I wanted to give it another try. When I started playing it, however, I was disappointed by the gameplay in Dr. Mario. One of the reasons I wanted to play the game was because I really liked the music in Dr. Mario, but I was disappointed to find that the music had been changed. I grew tired of the Dr Mario part of the game so I decided to give Puzzle League a try. On this part of the game I was also bored by the presentation. Once I actually started playing it I was amazed at the depth and addictiveness of the game. There are many game modes that kept me busy for hours. The menu screen is boring but the game screen is vibrant and colorful. While I was disappointed with the overall presentation of both games, the gameplay and depth of Puzzle League more than makes up for what was missing from Dr Mario. The Dr Mario part of the game is still fun and you will enjoy it if you have played Dr Mario before.
