Double Dragon reminds of the good days playing your NES, but once you beat it a few times, you'll never play it again.

User Rating: 8.5 | Double Dragon X360
Gameplay: One of the first beat-em ups ever created, an instant classic on the NES, a game you'll remember from the "good 'ole days." Basically, a beat-em up is you running at enemies and, as the premise goes, beating them up. Think of it as a well-thought button-masher. Anyway, there are a few levels that accumulate to a total of about 20 minutes max, if you're slow. In this game, though, the elbow smash is way too abusable, and I can beat the whole game on one credit, only thanks to having the elbow smash at my disposable; it kills most enemies in 2-3 hits, for the minions anyway. XBL multiplayer, althought decent, often drops you from games you're searching for, or lags mid-game ruining the great experience.

Graphics: Updated graphics, seems like this isn't just a simple port, but that they spent time on it. Although they are updated, they seem way too cartoony, and really diminish what could have been a grittier beat-em up.

Sound: Double Dragon music, at it's best. Although looped frequently, if you like the music of the series, it's very reminiscient of a good time spent playing this game at your friend's house.

Value: Not a very long game, not much reason to go back and play it once you're done with all the achievements or that nostalgia feeling. On the topic of achievements, they're mostly easy, the hardest being to beat the game on one credit; this can be accomplished in a few games of picking-up the best elbow smash techniques.

Reviewer's Tilt: It's Double Dragon, it plays like Double Dragon, although the controls could have been better, what more can you ask? I just hope they come out with DDIII, that game was the best, in my opinion.

My Final Word: Grab this classic for 400 MS points if you are familiar with the series, love it, and want nostalgia. Just remember, if you're not ready, there's always a trial to try out the game.
