Doom Collector's Edition is the perfect buy for any old-school gamer. If you appreciate classic games in any way, the Doom Collector's Edition aught to be a part of your collection. Boasting all three early DOS Doom games: Ultimate Doom, Doom II, and Final Doom, and with the collector's edition, you get a second CD that has Doom 3 content and some other special features.

Though not having the best graphics, that slump can be easily overlooked by the sheer addictive aura that Doom possess. Doom has a great sound system, nice controls, and great gameplay and tilt value.

The game's difficulty ranges from "Not too Rough" to the dreaded "Nightmare" difficulty in which cheat codes cannot be used. If you are up for a true Doom challenge, try the Nightmare difficulty.

The nice thing about ID Software is that most of their game just need to be installed on the computer, but needs no disk. So find a friend who has Doom Collector's Edition and you'll have all three classics on your computer. Or, you could go out and find a copy youself at Wal-Mart for only $10.
