This game might be the best FPS of the era: But even with that said it has it's share of faults.
I guess if you LOVE FPS you will go gaga over this, but for a casual FPS fan, or someone who doesnt buy many of them this one isnt anything special.
It's just like every other FPS, aim shoot...gore.
The storyline really is weak and not that anyone would really care but you really have no diea why you are doing what you are doing.
Find a random room/random object blast a ton of pixels.....repeat, repepat, repeat.
I just dont understand the genre of games sometimes...I keep hoping for more...something to make one of these titles unique and there is never anything there.
If you live FPS you can do a lot worse that DOOM - in fact its probably one of the more solid titles, but the game is linear, boring and unintersting.
