It's amazing what you can do with a pair of drums...

Since I liked Donkey Konga so much, I decided to buy this game. Donkey Kong hasn't failed me yet with his cool games. (No surprise there) This game is a new yet old and satisfying experience overall. It is basically a left-right platformer in which you tap the bongos to go a certain direction or to jump. I'm surprised to see such colorful sceneries and the overall control is outstanding. It takes a little while to get used to the bongos to control this video game, but that is all the fun.

Enemies however look like they belong in a Wario game. They are just too bizarre for words. I've seen half chicken half plant thingies as well as so many other creatures. I don't mind, but I'm used to stomping on reptiles from the Donkey Kong Country series. Creativity and Originality is a huge +. I wish I could ride Rambi the rhino though...

Wherever there are courses, there are bosses, each four sets of courses are bound to have these creatures:
1. An ape
2. A phoenix bird
3. A wart hog
4. A mechanical elephant.
They could've had more bosses, but at least they get more difficult as you progress through the game. I wanted to fight King K. Rool so baddly. Too bad he wasn't in this game.

At the end of each level, you receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Bronze crest depending on how well you do on the level whether how many times you get hit or how many bananas you collect. The game is a little on the shortside, but it is a fun masterpiece and it shows you how fun something different could be. It's like trying chop sticks for the first time. I think this is DK's best game yet.

P.S.: I gave graphics a 10 because I can finally see the ape's fur in detail.
