Call of Donkey 1-Gorilla Warfare

User Rating: 9.5 | Super Donkey Kong SNES
when everybody thought that snes is dead,in 1994 came donkey kong country,a game that revitalized both snes & donkey kong,2 in 1.so it's a ground-breaking game.it also had the luck to come out one year before the revolution started by the 32-bit era.so,bassicaly, this is the right game,at the right place,at the right time.it sold in 8 million copies, making it a smash hit.
the kremlings have invaded your country & you must stop them.you play the role of donkey kong & his little brother.
the gameplay is plain fun-you get to throw with barells in the enemys, you also get inside of them, using them as cannons.also, another type of barells are used as saving-point's.every-thing in this game gets around these barells.
the graphics are 3d,and everybody was astonished by the look of this game-there wasn't anything like this seen before.
the music brings instant nostalgic-the peak of this is represented by the aquatic ambience theme,in my opinion, the best music track ever from any video-game.you just want to hear over & over again, you never get bored of it.another great theme is funky's fugue,a trance like theme, also very addictive.
the tracks are just so fun & cool to listen to.
there are various worlds & levels with a great range of enemy's & some puzzles to solve.
the sequels of this game are very strong, making a solid series.
the total time spent with this game will be around 30 hours,30 hours to remember all the rest of your life because there is nothing like this nowadays.
