Donkey Kong Country is a fantastic platformer. it stars Donkey Kong and his new pall Diddy adventuring the island to retrieve his lost banana hoard from the Kritters, and their leader King K.Rool.
The graphics in Donkey Kong Country are fantastic. most people thought at first glance that this was on a 32 bit system, and not on a 16 bit system. It mixes rendered and pre-rendered 3D graphics, and uses great color and detail. The scrolling backgrounds in this game are also fantastic.
The controls are smooth and are very simple.it makes it a great game for beginners and experienced gamers alike.
The music in this game is also astounding. it has one of the most popular soundtracks in video game history, and is personally one of my favorites. the music matches the locations excellently, mostly sporting a jungle groove style,
This game uses a map, and has over 100 levels(including bonus levels, bosses etc.) it is a decently long game, but even after you beat it, you will most likely go back and play through it again. it has great replay value.

In conclusion, Donkey Kong Country is one of the most revolutionary games of the 90's, and is one of the best SNES games. I would recommend this game to anyone, and it was one of my favorite games of all time.
