Just lacking what made banjo so great, just lacking what made DKC so great. But still great.

Sheesh - how many kongs are there?

With multiple special powers & abilities for each kong, and a whole barrel of kongs to choose from - large levels, animal rides and some of the same humour from the original DK & banjo titles, this is one great game to have.

Unfortunately, it is a lot easier than most of the above games (well, only DKC3 is easier). And most of the new kongs just do not bring a lot of personality with them.

The controls are what you would expect of a rare platformer, great. You'll be flying, shooting, attacking, shrinking, strechting and handstanding in no time.

Unfortunately, most of what can be done does remind a lot of banjo, mario and other platform titles. The mini-games are great (in multiplayer too), unfortunately - the gun-based action isn't very fun. This is also the main multiplayer game - which is a pity.

Nonetheless, it is a great solo adventure that should be played through by anyone who can, at least once.
