When played with friends, this game is amazing, fun, and hilarious. Even alone, it's still fun!

I found this game used at Gamestop and picked it up because it looked cute and fun, and I hadn't started playing it until I moved into my dorm for my first semester of college. Me and my friend had a field day with this game; once we started playing it we couldn't stop. We played the entire storyline and we never realized how competitive we were before this game. The only thing that is a downside, is that there is potential for there to be large gaps in who is winning and who is losing, and that's due to the surprise rewards (or un-rewards) that occur at the end of a level; sometimes after a week of in-game play, the character that won will get many rewards and then the one that lost will then LOSE some of the possessions that help them in getting into the lead (so it makes it a lot harder to recover). But this game is just too fun when playing with friends. It's goofy, funny, and brings out a real competitive spirit in people. It's a great game to pull out when you have nothing to do or you have a few friends over.

Graphics: Cartoon-y and chibi-style characters, very fun!

Battle Mechanics: Not a main focus of the game at all, but I figured I would mention them. There are only about 3 or 4 commands you can use in battle and it is very easy to get used to.

Classes/Jobs: There are 3 main jobs at first (Warrior, Thief, and Magician) and you can uncover more after you progress in the game.

Game Modes: Storyline mode (the LONGEST) or the mode that you can set how long you want the competition to go on for (can't remember the name).

Storyline: Funny! The storyline mode is centered around the idea that you need to accomplish certain tasks each game week to get rewarded with money or new towns, the person with the most money (usually the one with the most towns) wins the hand of the King's daughter in marriage.

Gameplay: The game is set up like a game board, you get a spinner to see how many spaces you can move and depending on where you pick to go, you may end up in a battle with an enemy, getting items (from a shop or a treasure chest), getting magic, or battling a boss for a new town to conquer! You can play pranks of sorts on your competitors as well, so that you can try and gain a lead.

Awesome game! It's just too cute, fun, and ridiculously competitive to pass up!
