They game is gud and fun to play but also has its bad sides that Ninja Theory ruined for me, But ovell all the game is g
I'm playing the game 2 time (Son of Sparda mod) and i'm gonna play one more time for the remaining achivs if any. the game is fun to play, doesn't make you bore. The fighting system is great as well, combos are fun to do, longer,.
The gfx are good, level design is awesome, the game is smoother, sharper. Ninja Theory did make the game better in some aspects but also ruined somethings as well. i gonna explain but first please understand this i'm loved prevous dmc series wasn't a big fan of dmc4 though but i liked it and i also loved the new dmc so for both haters(prevous fans of the series or dante) and New fans(or old who like the new one like me) My points about the ruined things about the game are valid in a way i see the game and i'm not stating because i liked or disliekd the old series and the new one. If you'll agree with i appreciate it and if not then i totally respect your opinion because everyone has his/her own opnion and likings different way to see and feel things.
Now...the thing Ninja theory ruined for me.
1. SPARDA, The totally ruined the Sparda character his back story, Sparda was a legend, he wasn't some demon blood related to Mundas who fell in love with an angel or human(in previous the mother was human) and bear 2 child and then caught by mundus and now is in tormenting in the demin world or dead may be. Sparda was the demon who faught with his own kind for the human world and drived demons back to hell and locked the demaon gate behind him sacrified his love or his wife and children to protect them and the rest of the human world. He earned respect in both demon and human world for what he did. In the new DMC Ninja theory rapped his character or story in couple of mins like he was just a regular demon. i don't wanna go into more detail because i think i made my point so i close my first point here.
2. VERGIL, Ninja Theory also ruined Vergil's character as well, VergilW is kind'a looser back stabbing kind a guy who works from the side lines or from behind the scenes, he even got scared from demon and asked DanteW's help when the security raded his building. And in the end after taking a a$$ kickin of a life time he just ran away, it just pathetic. Vergil was a bad ass character, confident who does his biding by himself he didn't Dante (but his amulet) He kicked ass in the DMC3 had a couple fighting scenes as well, he was even more powerful than Dante before Dante awakened after he took the beating from Vergil. In the end he was a proud character didn't need any pity and in the underworld he still kicked ass lolz. i think i made my point and its ok to close it here.
3. Dante (Doesn't concern me now), ok The only thing i hate about DanteW is his half shaved head hairstyle(never cared about the color), Dante was proud, cocky, funny, had a bad mouth as well and DanteW also has all of these things and the my most fav taunt in this series is when he says " Who am i? i'm you prom date you **** " 'lolz' to the succubus. But i never got the gangster like feeling from Dante but i do from DanteW a little because of this street thug like hairstyle. But its water under the brigde now.
4. The Ending, i wasn't satisfied with the ending because of my 2nd point about Vergil, Out of the blue Vergil says he wants to rule then teh fight and he runs like a pathetic Bi*ch and boom the end. may be it is because they want to wrap it up in the DLC or they want to make a sequel and they are going to use VergilW in it, who knows. But its a fact that they ruined the Bad a$$ Vergil Character.
So in the end, The game was fun mostly because i played it by thinking that i'm playing DMC Spin off or a clone game. I'm also going to play it on PC with some modding ofcourse lolz. So i will say to haters that your going to stop hating the game one day so why not do it today and the rest please ignore the hated comments and don't justify or talk back because if you ignore all the hate is gonno go away at some point but if you still stack back it will cause more hating comments.
So for me Gameplay 8, GFX 8.5, Presentation 8.5, Story 5 (sorry but i think more than 5 will not be fair), replayability 8 S0, 7.5/10.
