Ever wanted to play a game where you get the powers of a dragon? Well, you're looking at it, and it's pretty awesome.

User Rating: 9 | Divinity II: Ego Draconis PC
This action based RPG by Laurian Studios is pretty awesome, and as soon as you play it, you'll know why. This just goes to show that even small studios can make a great game and after all the hype created by EA's Dragon Age: Origins, I still think this is the better game.

GRAPHICS
This is the main part of the game where they could really polish up. There seems to be a framerate problem, and it produces a laggish feeling, even when I play on low (my computer is pretty good). It is pretty hard to explain, you will recongnize it immediately once you start playing. Hopefully, there will be a patch soon to fix it up. Other than that bit, the visuals are very surreal, I walking past the lush grass or flying by the world through the eyes of a dragon is a pleasure to do.

AUDIO
Ah, this is where Divinity II: Ego Draconis is at it's best: the sounds. The background music is simply catchy, and you will find your self whistling to it's tune subconsciously. The sound effects in the game also resemble those of it's real life counterparts, and it is hard to tell the difference.

GAMEPLAY
The most important part of all while playing a game is it's gameplay. If this sucks, no matter how good the visuals or sounds are, the game will still suck. That is not the case with Ego Draconis as the combat system is well thought out. The skill trees gives you a huge choice to make each time you level up, and the variety available is great. The storyline is also great and the ending will surely stun you.
