Ok, I was anticipating this game, but I didn't really have my hopes up too high. I suppose I am a jaded gamer anymore with so many bad games released.

This game is truly amazing. The graphics are fantastic. I mean gorgeous. It is a very system intensive game, so you need some good hardware to see it in all it's glory.

The combat is good and challenging, this game isn't scaled like Oblivion, which I think is a good thing. When the game is scaled you never have too difficult of a time. Not so in Divinity II. if you aren't ready and prepared you will get beat down.

The quests are all very well written and the game has some great plot twists, I think the story and quest writing is much better than other RPGs released in 2009.

The skill system is awesome, think of Titan Quest except that you can choose any skill you want, not just two disciplines as in Titan Quest. You have that with the wide open world of Oblivion. Pure awesomeness.

The mind read ability adds a whole new element to the standard npc dialogue and is a great addition. NPCs are reactive to your choices as well, and you can really piss them off if you aren't careful, your actions really do have consequences.

Oh yea, on top of that you can turn into a dragon too... how awesome is that...

There are just so many good things about this game, I am really impressed, especially with this title coming from a smaller studio that hasn't been gobbled up by EA. They did a fantastic job! Do yourself a favor and get this game.
