Wonderful game. It has it's pros and cons. But despite that it's big and very entertaining.

This is my first review so bare with me.

If you like a game that lets you search for goods, gives you many different choices and a bit of thinking and taking to the sky :). Then you're going to like this game.

I like this game because there is plenty to do. Played it through and started a new round to find the stuff I missed and to try different choices when conversing with the people of Rivellon.

The difficulty level can be adjusted if needed. You sometimes have to level up a bit in order to proceed or else you'll get trampled. In some cases this situation can be averted by running away but sometimes you'll get your butt kicked.

A friendly reminder. SAVE OFTEN!

The visuals is pretty good. It gives the right feel. The sun casts its glare on the sea and so on.

The sound is nice. It blends in without "taking over". The voice of your character is heard even in the middle of a battle. Though when you hear "oh I could use a potion right about now" you could be in trouble.

As you play the game you may come to realise that the answers you pick when conversing with people can come back and bite you, but not always. In some cases you find merchants who will sell you their wares at a lower price provided you made them happy by helping them or reading their minds, but if you get them angered their prices rise quickly!

The fighting can be a bit challenging but thankfully you have skills that you can get and "upgrade" as the game proceeds. You can summon a creature or other things to help you in battle if you need. Found this to be good because most enemies will go for the thing you summoned and hopefully leave you alone enough to replenish a bit of health.
The usual fireball is in there too and a bunch of other spells and skills depending on how you want to customize your character.

You can also mind read. It's great fun but you have to decide if you want to use it because it uses up experience points (that you can get back by killing foes). For most cases you get something in return for the sacrifice of experience, for instance that key to the basement containing goodies, the location of a good armour or a useful hint.

The pros:
A good long game with plenty to do. You can shape-change into a dragon. A great number of NPC to laugh at, get angry at and just shake your head at. Good visuals and sounds. Fun to replay.

The cons:
If you rush into things you will get in big trouble. You feel the world could have been bigger.
The ending can leave you a bit boggled, but hopefully a third game is in the making.

Overall it's a good game that grabs you and then holds on.
