Dissidia 12 is a great follow up to the first dissidia in a number of ways. Most of all, the new characters are all fun to use and unique. Lightning can use her abilities as seen in FF 13, Laguna is a refreshing projectile gunner character, and Yuna uses her summons to do the fighting. Those are just my favorite additions but there are others along with 3 new unlockable characters. The new assists, while not alway effective, add a new level of depth to the fighting. The story mode is only slightly better, and I was somewhat disappointed that the final battle was just a repeat of the first game. All in all this is great game and improves on most things from the last game.
THE GOOD
1. Great new characters keep things fresh 2. Assists add to strategy of fighting 3. The world roaming aspect is a great idea 4. The fighting as always is fun and flashy 5. Old characters have some new moves. 6. The new stages are very fun
THE BAD
1. New story is not much better 2. Lots of repetition from the old story 3. Same old dull facial expressions
