About the same as the first one with little more tweaks.

User Rating: 6.5 | Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy PSP
Well the first Dissidia was fun but the story failed, the sequel is about the same. Dissidia 012: Duodecim Final Fantasy (yes that's the whole name) brings all the characters in the first Dissidia (as well as the two hidden ones) into this and adds 6 new characters (as well as 3 hidden characters as far as I'm concerned) but over all It doesn't really change anything from the first one as far as I'm concerned it's basically an add-on to the first. The Story is really disappointing it's a prequel to the first but most prequels don't come out that great or just ok, but this one really isn't great. These new characters find themselves lost in this new world and get separated later on and now have to go back to cosmos to reunite, but instead are n over run by manikins. Now they have to fight them and get past them to go to cosmos. Later on it's gets repetitive so you'll get bored real fast and it really isn't worth it if you keep on going. The Gameplay is the same as the first one (which isn't always that bad) and this isn't bad rather good since the dissidia was fun and with new stuff and new characters makes it even funner. If you played the first dissidia the gameplay is the same so no need to explain that but I'll explain the new stuff. The noticeable assist characters is a new system where you can select any of the characters you have listed or unlocked from the character selection so each character has a way of having an advantage or disadvantage to each character. In story mode the gameplay is the same a board game you move into other pieces to fight or advance, but now they added a world map so it's like the original Final Fantasy games you move to other places by the world map and also fight on the way so It'll feel nostalgic. Also New features in the modes which I never got to yet but they should be good or bad. Multiplayer is the only reason to buy this sadly but true but sadly no online still so you'll need to play with people locally. The Sounds are the same as the first and all attacks sound about same same with certain magic as well also their rush or their EX Burst sounds about the same with certain characters so it's pretty plain. The Music they added sounds great I love to hear it over and over again during each battle I put one of the new songs and go. The voice actors sound great on some characters and improve on certain characters as well... but some don't sound great at all so it's a so and so on this one. The Graphics are the same as the first one so it's pretty good and also looks good but no improvement to the first one. The magic you cast looks good to from fire to water to lighting to darkness. The new stages look great as well and so much destruction in them as well. Also new costumes for each characters so it's all great but most of them doesn't look like they match them but looks great. The controls fail still again from the first one they are they same, horrible controls and horrible camera but you'll get use to it later on but still sucks and will not fix it. Over all this game is basically the first one with add-ons so the only reason to buy this game is for multiplayer and multiplayer only so if you want to fight with your friends with new characters then this game is for you but you'll need to find friends with this game first.
