The movies that the company Disney has released over the years have been really enjoyable to watch as I like to watch them but I never got a chance to see the Disney and Pixar movie titled Up when it was out a few years ago so I decided to do the next best thing and that was to try the video game which is based on the movie.
The story is about a old man named Carl Fredericksen who has lived in his home with his beloved wife who had passed away before they decided to go to a place called Paradise Falls years before so one day Carl decides to keep his promise and uses a large amount of balloons to fly his house all the way there but things don't go as plan when a kid named Russell becomes a passenger as they make the journey to Paradise Falls where they meet a giant colorful bird that Russell decides to call Kevin and a dog named Doug who can talk thanks to a special collar that he wears and together they all set out on a adventure of a lifetime.
The game itself has a feature which is Co-Op as you can play the game either by yearself or even have a friend join you in gameplay to help you with puzzles as some of them can be super easy while others can be really tough to do plus even with that said that each character has skills that are only playable to that character but only once you can completed certain levels of the game like Carl can use the golf club to hit enemies that are far away while Russell can use the Grapple to switch over areas that can be dangerous plus there are times in the game that you can play as Kevin or Doug as they are fun plus a thing to remember that when you are going through the levels you may see something interesting but you may need to have a certain skill to get to it.
As with alot of games there is the very so popular collecting stuff feature that is usually a joy for some gamers but a really pain to others as there is alot to collect in the game as Carl can collect picture frames of events that has happened within his life while Russell can collect butterflies that shows how different each type is while other stuff include cheat codes , mini games and a timer for each level to see if you can make it to the end within the time limit but that is up to you if you like to do that but they are sometimes worth doing.
I enjoyed playing the game as I'm hoping to get a chance to watch the movie sooner or later but by playing this it almost make me feel like I was already watching it so if you have seen the movie or not give the game a try.
