The most boring game I've ever played

User Rating: 2 | Disney High School Musical: Livin' the Dream GBA
Gameplay: Even for a fan of the movies, this game is extremely boring. The gameplay consist of running around the school looking for items and being challenged to dance duels. At first it's not so bad, just a little repetitive, but the game's too long.
Sometimes you'll have to collect keys to open a door, which's a drag.
When you die, your character respawns to the neares checkpoint, which is usually very close.
SOme levels are timed, but not really hard, unless you get lost, which happened to me about twice due to the levels all looking the same.
You can play as 4 different characters: Troy, Gabriella, Sharpay and Ryan, each with a different ability. Troy can throw basketballs (to open doors or move platforms), Gabriella can hack (which can help open doors and move platforms...), Sharpay can sing (to freeze enemies, open doors, or move platforms -.-), and Ryan can double jump. Unfortunately, you can't choose your character, it depends on the stage.
After every stage, you get a dance sequence which's a matter of timing buttons with the music. It's boring thanks to the terrible tracks.
For the modes, you have story, a mode to see some pictures you unlock in story mode, and a mode to redo levels from story mode(which you won't use due to them being so boring)
1/10

Presentation: The characters are animated in some sort of 3Dish graphics which... don't look good. The backgrounds are bland and boring, sometimes even confusing, because some things look like they're part of the wall when they're not.
The music is among the worst I've heard on a videogame, the tracks from the first 2 movies where horribly transformed into a very bad quality music. The sound effects aren't good either; when you get hit is sounds horrible.
2/10

Story: The storyline's about Gabriella having some dreams. FIrst, some things get stolen and you have to find the one who did it. When that arc ends, it just becomes some pointless racing in levels between Troy and Gabriella and Ryan and Sharpay. It's a terrible story that won't entertain you.
4/10

Replay Value: You can go back to levels, to try and beat scores and collect all items, but it's not worth your time. Simply because the game's extremely boring, even too long, so why'd you go back to it?
5/10

Fun: I had absolutely no fun with this game. It was a chore to beat, and an extremely boring one.

Overall: Even for fans, this isn't a good game. The part I had the most fun with, was watching the pictures from the movie...
