If you're a true Disney fan, you'll love this game despite its flaws.
It's true, the gaming part of it itself is a bit lacking. The camera angels are a bit wonky, and fighting and getting around can be a bit tedious at times, but what counts for me in a videogame is the story- and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by Epic mickey's plot!
The cut scenes, although very much needed to be worked on and slowed down so you can actually READ what is being said, were beautifully made and I'm grateful to how they did the voices the way they did.
This truly is a game that really marks a come back and the return of Oswald, Walt Disney's very first true animated star before Mickey came about. Disney fans will appreciate the return of Oswald, and how you explore and travel through the old animated cartoons that really made Disney famous for its animations.
So overall, if you're a fan of good stories and plots or are a big Disney fan at heart, and can dismiss the mediocre game play, then Epic Mickey is a game worth playing!
