A game polarising the critics, but has been misunderstood. The game is a mix of different genres! Works marvelous!

User Rating: 9 | Disney Epic Mickey WII
This is one of my favourite games for the year! It's a mix of role-playing, platforming and action adventuring. It can be enjoyed by everyone, expect ones who really hate Mickey and Disney, because it is taking focus in the Disney world.

The story is about a land drawn by a magician. A land for all the forgotten characters, and Walt Disney's first character, Oswald, is the first to come to the land. He makes himself king and builds the land with all the other forgotten characters later to join him. But one day a terrible thinning disaster takes place, and the land turns into a land called Wasteland. Mickey gets taken to the land and his own mission is to come back to his own house again, but along the road he meets a lot of characters having quests and side-quests for him to take on.

People have been complaining about the camera and about the controls, but it isn't a problem, which it is made out to be in reviews. I think the bad grades just are an excuse for them to say, they don't like Mickey, and don't like him to be a star in games too.

I'm not ignoring that there are a few problems; one thing is the combat with larger foes. Foes like pirates are annoying to kill, because you need to hit them from behind, and the controls don't work that precise. It's a minor issue, and not something ruining the experience in overall!

Here are my grouped grades

Story: 10
It's taking Disney to the roots, and could have been just as enjoyable as a movie, because the story is so deep! Oswald's comeback!
Gameplay: 8
New elements like the ability to draw and erase objects in the world; helps bring the gameplay to the top, but minor issues with
Graphic: 9
Beautiful design and making the best out of the Wii's graphics. 2D parts look marvellous and bring back memories!
Sound: 8
Music and songs suits the rest of the game well, but no melodies standing out, and which hangs on you, like in the Mario games!
Multiplayer: --
Non-existing, but being with family and friends while playing is a lot of fun.
Online play: --
No online at all

Conclusion
It's a great mix of different elements, which makes it a thoroughly experience. New gameplay ideas like the thinner and the painter make you need to play differently than you use to, and you have to be way more creative throughout the game. I clearly recommend the game for everyone, and thanks for reading my review!
