CONS: ugly graphics. unresponsive controls. terrible camera. shallow, frustrating and repetitive gameplay.
I guess the main reason is i hate Disney. But that means crap. Because Epic Mickey combines some old cartoon elements into the game. Which is, i think creative in a way. But the rest SUCKS!
The graphics are ugly, that didn't came as a suprise, its a Wii game. And Wii games don't really have drop dead graphics, but COME ON! This is just lazy.
The gameplay is montonous! Usually there will something new after a while. But other than that. Shallow, and tedious, and frustrating as all get out, maybe because of the terrible camera. It just puts you in some of the worst positions possible. And it will fight you when you try to move it to a different position.
Also...Is this game ripping off something?
A Cartoon License turn into a action game with an awful camera and tedious, frustrating, repetitve combat? Thats right, people. Epic Mickey is actually ripping off "Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal" they just had to go to the lowest sense of licensing to a video game, didn't they?
And another problem, is...the controls...its a third party Wii game. So yeah, what did you expect? I don't know, a better game?!
I mean, if you have like, young kids, they might enjoy it, but dude, thats a lot of money to put in for a pain in the butt. Disapointed! Not only was i disappointed with Epic Mickey, but it came as no suprise that it sucked, it's a Wii-Exculsive, and Wii Exclusives are rarely any good.
Epic Mickey is an Epic Failure! And isn't really worth getting, not even for your 5 year olds birthday.
