One of the best turn based strategy RPG's ever made.

At first glance, Disgaea seems like one of those quirky Japanese RPG titles that many westerners just don't get the appeal of. However, after a few hours the game opens up and truly shows it's greatness that cements it as one of the greatest strategy RPG titles made for the PS2. The hilarious cast and dialogue will make you laugh out loud many times throughout the story. The deep strategy and unlockables will keep you glued to the gamepad for days to unlock one more skill or increase your equipment by one more level. There may be a limited amount of story based maps but the ability to enter every piece of item in the game and battle baddies through 100 randomly generated levels of every item makes replayability endless. If you haven't tried Disgaea yet, you owe it to yourself to play one of the gems of the PS2 era.
