Yup, its an attempt to copy Pokémon success. Anyone with half a brain would see it. But its not half bad, for a full-brained one (just make up a new word!). It has some LITTLE issues, like the STORY. But it also has lots of good stuff around. Like the replay value, graphics, number of Digimons that can be "scanned" (They´ve done Agumon. Then, they´ve done BlackAgumon. You get my point? They´ve done dozens of Digimon with different colours, but exactly the same as another existent digimon. Smart) And number of maps. I´m being generous here, cuz the game is not that good. Of course, it´s good for Digimon fans (myself included). So, those reviews with 10s and 9s are kinda stupid. Lets see, Pokémon Pearl has a user score of 9
Digimon Dusk has a user score of 8.5.
What the hell is going on?! There are millions of Pokémon fans only in Japan, then how is a (semi-failed) attempt to copy it has almost the same score? Anyway, I recommend this game for any digimon fan, anyone who wants to be a digimon fan, or if you really love RPG. If not, grab a copy of any Pokémon, except spin-offs. You will be much more satisfied.
