The fourth installment of Devil May Cry does not disappoint!
Both Nero and Dante start out with a few abilities and in Dante's case, just one weapon. Whatever level Nero's health and devil trigger is at, Dante's are also at the same level. As the game progresses, Nero can find items to supplement his abilities while Dante finds weapons to aid him on his quest. Like in previous installments, there are secret missions which give players the chance to earn items such as blue orb fragments, etc.
The controls in Devil May Cry 4 are not that much different from the previous installments, mostly remaining the same as with the musical score as well. Visually speaking, Devil May Cry 4 are truly next generation, especially during cut-scenes, with highly detailed characters, environments, etc.
As with previous installments, Devil May Cry 4 is short and somewhat repetitive since Nero and Dante have to do the same things on some stages and fight the same bosses. Nero roughs up the bosses while Dante finishes them off. Despite all, Devil May Cry 4 is a fun game to play and will keep you busy. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a action game with a compelling story whether they are Devil May Cry fans or not.
